nvidia-opencl-icd-340 software package provides NVIDIA OpenCL ICD, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nvidia-opencl-icd-340
nvidia-opencl-icd-340 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nvidia-opencl-icd-340 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nvidia-opencl-icd-340 *
You will get with nvidia-opencl-icd-340 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
